There are a number of native cultures that consider bears to be healers whose powers are miraculous, shamanic, and magical. When you have an opportunity to get up close and discover the wisdom in their eyes, is there any question why? I am only the latest in a long line of human beings to appreciate these animals – I hope my fine art imparts the same reverence I feel to those that come after.
