As climate change slowly warms our planet, sea ice in the north and south dwindles or vanishes completely during the summer months, forcing this mother polar bear to wait longer every year before she can hunt seals to feed her cubs. Human beings are not the only species that stand to lose something precious if we don't work together to solve this crisis, but I am optimistic we will find our way.
