A female sea wolf swiftly navigates a stream along British Columbia's rugged coast. These wolves have incomparable senses of smell, eyesight, and hearing, all of which help them scratch out a living in the intertidal zone. Between 70-90% of her diet consists of seafood in the way of mussels, clams, chitons, limpets, abalone, and barnacles, as well as scavenged salmon, seal, and sea lion carcasses.
