Months old sea wolf pups play with an eagle feather they discovered along a riverbank in the intertidal zone of British Columbia's vast coastline. Wolf pup play is continuous – an essential tool for learning the skills that will assist their survival as they grow older. This brief, beautiful moment was a satisfying reward after crouching in a blind for sixteen hours a day over a two week period.
