A dominant male lion carefully scans the horizon from his elevated position on the Maasai Mara. We expect the wilderness to be raw and untamed, yet there is a dignity to be found if you pay close enough attention. When we finally start to consider members of other species as part of our family, we will discover true fulfillment – I hope my art goes some distance towards cultivating this sentiment.
